When I decided to study Japanese, there were many schools to choose from. I happened to find Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin while I was walking around Yotsuya. What a good choice I made!

The enjoyment of communicating with people of various cultures and backgrounds and the feeling of what I learned at school can be immediately useful in my daily life. There is no doubt that this is what can be achieved at this school.

I strongly recommend Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin to people who want to continue living or working in Japan. I felt like I found myself at the right time and at the right place. The teachers are very friendly; they respect and understand each and every student which helped me learn Japanese more effectively.

For those who wish to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, there are supplementary courses. In addition, Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin is the best place for those who wish to enter Japanese companies.

Winter term, 2010 - Fall term, 2010 JLPT N1
Summer term, 2010 Business Writing
Fall term, 2010 Practical Business Conversation ( Advanced )

I studied Japanese in Far Eastern State University, Russia. At that time my teacher told me “You’d better take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT)”. I looked through the 2009 edition of Nihongo gakkou zenchosa (a book which lists various Japanese language schools) and found Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin. I chose it because of a variety of courses and its good teachers.

After 2 months in school, I passed the JLPT 2nd level. This result stimulated me to challenge the 1st level. In the end, I reached that level, too. I also took several other courses, such as: JLPT N2, JLPT N1, Practical Business Conversation ( Advanced ), Business Writing. In Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin I met a lot of people from different countries, made friends with them and may be because of their influence, I could continue my studying. I very much appreciate my teachers, who looked after me, for their kindness and help in passing the exams.

I studied at Nichibei full-time for a total of three months and took various morning and Saturday classes. I would say that I owe most of the progress of my Japanese language ability to the school and its teachers. During the full-time course I was very impressed by the high quality of teaching materials, the overall course structure and especially the teachers. The three teachers in charge of my class quickly grasped each student's strengths and weaknesses, and tailored homework and exercises accordingly.

When I returned to work, I found that I could immediately apply what I had studied at Nichibei and my coworkers were impressed by the improvement. I particularly liked the fact that the correct use of keigo was consistently enforced during the course which has proved very useful when communicating with colleagues and clients.

I can recommend Nichibei to anybody who is serious about studying Japanese whether a beginner, intermediate or advanced learner.

Studying in Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin is a decision you will never regret. The course materials are fulfilling, challenging and very beneficial. All the teachers are very well trained to provide the courses in logical and efficient ways, which I consider the most important element for foreigner in learning a new language successfully. Moreover, the teachers are extremely committed to teaching: they pay attention to student and make sure every student meets the course requirements. Also, the class size is small enough to provide plenty of opportunities for everyone to practice speaking. The school has earned a high reputation in Japan and internationally. Students come from various countries, so you will have great chance to study and make friends with people from diverse background and develop your intercultural understanding as well. There are also extracurricular cultural and leaning activities arranged by school to know more about Japan culture and meet with Japanese students or business people. In sum, this is the best school for you to pursue your Japanese language study.

Additionally, my parents studied Japanese at JLI several years ago. They were so impressed with JLI then, and that is why sent me to Tokyo to study Japanese here at JLI. This means all the members of my family are big fans of JLI.

I had a very good time studying Japanese at Nichibei school. It was one of my best memories so far. The class was small about 10 people coming from different parts of the world with nice teachers and a friendly atmosphere. The curriculum is good and easy to follow, but lots of homework which is actually great, is not a bad thing at all.

I had a chance to study Japanese at other places, but I found that Nichibei is quite what I like. If you want to speak, read and write Japanese like Japanese do, there is no other place in Tokyo better than the JLI.
