2. Send the Application Forms and related documents by e-mail.
Send the application documents to the JLI office by e-mail within the application period. Submit the originals to the office when you come to the office.
3. The admission results will be notified to the applicants by e-mail or by phone upon careful consideration and selection.
4. Remit the admission fee and tuition by the specified date.
After confirming remittance, the JLI will notify you of the completion of the entrance procedures.
5. Take the placement test.
You will be placed to an appropriate class based on the result of the Placement Test. For those unable to attend the placement test for their desired term listed above, please contact the office at jli-info@nichibei.ac.jp
6. Course start!
Look up your class and classroom on the bulletin board on the first day of class, and proceed to the room.
Reduced Tuition for Incomplete Attendance (For Short-term Course Only)
If, at the time of application, you know in advance which lessons you will be missing and make a request for tuition reduction accordingly, we arrange for a special reduced tuition for incomplete attendance, prorating it in accordance with the actual period of class sessions you will be taking. It will be calculated on a weekly basis.

A copy of either your Residence Card (both sides) or passport
- This is for the purpose of verifying your personal information, including name and birthday, as well as the eligibility and duration of your stay.
