Eve is writing a love letter and tries to find elegant words of love.

Kevin:
Welcome back to Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin Podcasting. A great place to review English words and phrases. This week I spoke with Nichibei student Eve about the words of love. Hi Eve. How can I help you?
Eve:
I want to write a love letter in English, but I don't have enough vocabulary. Could you ask some teachers what they think? What are some good words for a love letter in English?
Kevin:
That sounds great, I'd be happy to. Let me ask some of the teachers. First I'm going to ask Scott Seeley. Scott. I've got this student. Her name is Eve. She wants to write a love letter in English but she feels she doesn't have enough vocabulary. So, I'd like to know what kind of love vocabulary you can suggest.
Scott Seeley:
I think she ought to think about passion. If you are in love or you are writing a love letter. I think that to show somebody how you feel about them is really good. You can use passionate. "I feel passionate about you". But in the love letter I think to show the other person, to show that man, that she has a lot of tender feeling in her heart she can use passion. She could say " I have so much passion when you talk to me" or "when you smile at me my heart is full of love. That shows my passion for you". "I'm passionate"
Kevin:
Scott, you're passionate too.
Scott Seeley:
Very Much, I am a very passionate person.
Kevin:
Scott, thank you for your passionate response.
Scott Seeley:
You're welcome.
Kevin:
Next I caught up with the Nichibei teacher Mr. Loring Ivanick. Loring, what are your suggestions?
Loring Ivanick:
Well I think...let me see now, a good word that shows that somebody's in love. You know, cherish is a really a great word for that. cherish has such a nice feeling about it. It's a feeling that you want to keep the person near you. You want to hold them always. And if they can't be near you, then you keep them in your mind all the time and that's what cherish is to me. I mean, it's something that's very valuable you cherish and of course if a person is the most valuable person in the world to you, that's the person you cherish.
Kevin:
Loring, give us a love letter type of sentence using cherish.
Loring Ivanick:
"Your not just a person I feel close to, you're not just a person I like, you're a person I'm going to cherish my whole life".
Kevin:
Ahh, thanks Loring.
Loring Ivanick: Sure Kevin.
Kevin:
And finally I'm going to talk to the...
Eve:
Wait, wait
Kevin:
What?
Eve:
Kevin, what's your words of love? What do you suggest?
Kevin:
Ahh! Well, umm I'll choose the word adore. When you have a warm and very comfortable feeling a feeling of great love for somebody you can use the word adore. In writing you can simply write "I adore you". Or you can relate it to something that you do adore. Like, " I adore the way you look in the morning. OK Eve, How's that?
Eve:
Thanks Kevin. That's great.
Kevin:
Now, let's review the words for today's podcast. Our words of love were: passion and cherish and adore. Well that's all the time we have for this podcast. I would like to say thank you to Eve, Scott Seeley and Loring Ivanick for their help. But before we go, let's listen to some Valentine's Day greetings from the staff and students of Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin.
