NICHIBEI Japanese has been designated as a Designated Store

The Japanese Language Institute (JLI) has been designated as a "Designated Store", a sales tax-exempt store for foreign diplomatic missions in Japan. Customers who are eligible for consumption tax exemption are those who hold an Embassy Duty Free Card or a Diplomatic Duty Free Card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The following are the documents required for the consumption tax exemption.

Documents required for the consumption tax exemption

• Tax exemption card (with photo)
• Diplomatic identification card
• Certificate of Tax Exemption Purchase for Foreign Establishments
